A clear way
back on track.

If Instagram’s interface changes or a run stops, start with the checks below. Your messages are never removed during scanning.

Report a problem
01

The conversation is not detected

Make sure the address starts with instagram.com/direct/t/, then reload the tab and reopen the extension. The inbox list itself is not a specific conversation.

02

Scanning does not scroll upward

Click once inside the chat history, return to the newest message, and select Scan again. Keep the popup and Instagram tab open while older messages load.

03

The message menu does not appear

Confirm the site language is English and that the target messages are yours. Stop other extensions or DevTools sessions that may already control the tab, then retry.

04

Chrome shows a debugging banner

This is expected only during the unsend phase. It allows trusted pointer movement and clicks. Access is released automatically when the run ends or the tab closes.

05

The extension stopped partway through

Instagram can recycle message rows or delay menus. Reopen the popup, scan the same conversation again, and retry the remaining count at the recommended two-second pacing.
